Friday

Not much more is needed for a title. It's been a really long week. I think it's because work has been incredibly slow and that always creates a restlessness in me.

Yesterday wasn't the best writing day, either. I wanted to work on it last night, but I accidentally emailed myself the wrong version of my story. Ah well. I needed to go to bed early last night anyway.

This weekend we're going school shopping for my daughter. I'm actually pretty excited. I also plan on buying myself another pair of Levis. ;-)

Other than that, I don't plan on doing anything too big. I'll probably cozy up on our new couch with my laptop and keep going on the BIAW.

Any big weekend plans for you?

  1. Ahhh...shopping for school clothes. My favorite time of the year. Okay, I'm loooong out of school, but I still do the majority of my new clothes shopping in the fall. And this pay actually left me enough after the bills were paid to allow me to pick something up for myself. Yippee!

  2. Have fun shopping. I could send you a 3 year old to help. That would dappen your excitement pretty quick.

BTW, my Messenger isn't working. I'm probably going to have to re-boot the computer. It takes so damn long to bring it back up. Anyway, I'll try to catch you soon.

  4. Have fun shopping! I'm cuddling up with my laptop too - had a terrible writing day yesterday cos I didn't write at all! Daughter has an ear infection that had me up way too early, dr.'s appt, blah blah blah.

My hubby is coming home after being gone for 2 weeks so that's exciting!! :)

  5. Karen - how exciting! I've gone through that before where I didn't see hubby for a month or more sometimes.

  6. I shop for office supplies during Back to School *g*. There are always great deals and I LOVE office supplies.

Our weekend includes a book sale, a possible quick trip into Vancouver and looking after all the animals here on the property as my in-laws and the neighbours are away.

Have fun shopping for your daughter and for your Levis!!

We have a tax-free weekend where everyone shops for BTS. One of the worst things about growing up is the end of back-to-school shopping! Enjoy it for all of us :)

  8. I plan on beating my DSL box into submission. So far the threat of DSL massacre has caused it to behave itself this evening and I'm actually getting to blog.
