It was quite the productive weekend. Saturday saw me typing madly away on my detailed synopsis. Perfect day for it, too, with lots of rain, cool breezes, and cloudy skies. And I finished the synopsis in record time, edited it a bit, then declared it finished and sent it and my partial through cyberspace for an agent to look at.
Strange - after I'd been working on it so intently all day, I felt sort of listless and rather lost knowing that it was done. In fact, I told my husband that I still wanted to work on editing the novel (it's halfway there) instead of relaxing and taking a break. But it was also 10 p.m. on a Saturday night, so I figured I really should take a break - and I popped in Casino Royale. Nothing like a bit of Bond to round out the day.
Sunday was a shopping day for my daughter and I. Since I've lost the weight, clothes from last summer don't fit - so I needed to buy a few new outfits for spring. Believe me, that's a great excuse to go shopping! I still want to lose another 30 pounds, but lately, I haven't been doing very well on the exercising. Illness has been the culprit most of the time, but I pray I can get back to it very soon - maybe even today! I wouldn't mind being a little skinnier when swimsuit season rolls around - even though I can't swim, hate the heat, and never lay on a beach. But hey, it's the thought that counts. ;-)

I know that feeling of working hard and beings so focused and all of a sudden, you're done! Good for you to keep on working.
