Short 'n Sweet

Short post today since I'm sidelined with a headache.

After going to work out last night at Curves, I was overjoyed to see that I'd lost another 4 pounds. Wooo hooo!!! Looks like I wasn't too bad at Thanksgiving after all!

Now if I can just contain myself with all the Christmas goodies, I'll be good to go.

Just finished watching Christmas in Connecticut. It's a classic movie (naturally!) with Barbara Stanwyck. I just love it and try to watch it every year. Also, A Charlie Brown Christmas is a must!

Any special movies you try and watch every Christmas season?

  4. My Christmas favorites are "White Christmas" and "Holiday Inn." And, of course, Chevy Chase's "Christimas Vacation." OMG, everytime I think of Cousin Eddy drinking punch from a moose-head cup, with his tight pants, and his dicky showing under a cheap sweater, I have to laugh. That movie has a million laughs. Every year, I tell dh he's getting a membership to the "Jelly of the Month Club." Merry Christmas!

Haven't watched that in awhile - might have to dig through the VHS tapes of mine to find the copy!

My favorite holiday films are "Christmas in Connecticut" (I've watched it about five times so far this season), "It's a Wonderful Life," "A Christmas Story" and "Christmas in the Clouds."

What a Difference a Day (or Two) Made...

Dinah Washington sings a wonderful tune called "What a Difference a Day Made." While the lyrics are romantic in nature, it perfect...
