There's nothing like a day full of editing. Thankfully, work was slow yesterday and I was able to squeeze in a bit of editing time on my short story. I couldn't wait to get home, fire up the computer, and keep working. And that's exactly what I did.Ah...bliss.
I hope to wrap it up today ,and I plan to submit it this weekend. That's what I like about the short story - it's done within a few days.
Still no snow here - highs have been in the 50's and low 60's. Unusual for Nebraska during December.
No big weekend plans, either, except to maybe wrap up the Christmas shopping and indulge in a good movie or two.

Best of luck on the short story, Melissa. That's a genre I often overlook, but when I find a good short story, I just love it. Here's hoping to read yours sometime!
