Christmas Wrap-Up

Greetings from western Nebraska! It took me 5 hours to get here on Christmas Eve, but the long trip was definitely worth it. I had Christmas Eve (and butterball soup!) at my grandmother's house and rest assured, I took plenty of pictures of butterball soup for you. But you'll have to wait until I can download them to see their yummy goodness. :-)

Christmas Day was presents, presents, and family! We had a yummy Christmas dinner, came back to my mother's house and opened presents, and then had a wonderful visit. That's the best part about Christmas - visiting with the family.

Yesterday I went with my family to go see Adam Sandler's new movie, Bedtime Stories. It is such a great movie - warm and funny and incredibly cute. If you have the chance to see it, it's a great movie for families.

Today I'm off to my brother's farm for more visiting and fun. And I may even check out the cows, too. ;-)

How was your Christmas?

  1. Very quiet. We spent the morning at home, then went to my in-laws' for the afternoon/evening. Our major celebration will come when my brother/sister in law arrive with the kids, but bad weather here may delay them (they're supposed to be coming up today).

Our Wigilia celebration was quiet as well, with my in-laws, but still nice :)

Glad you're having a big family Christmas!! Enjoy!

  4. Mine's been like yours, lots of greaet food, laughter and visitng with family. Last person left today from my house, so now the quiet may descend, if the kiddies stay out in pursuit of their own activities. Hugs and Happy New Year.

  7. Sounds like you're really enjoying your family. We did too, staying home most of the time, having a great Christmas dinner, lingering in the dining room long into the evening, good talk, good food, good company!

  10. Ours was different. We had a good time with my family but had to come home early b/c Richard's Gpa is not doing well. It was a great break from real-life though.

Can't wait to see this butterball soup!
