Fatigue

Short post today - I'm battling an extreme case of fatigue. So extreme, in fact, that I am headed to the doctor this morning to see what's up. Something is wrong when you have a good night's sleep, wake up at 8 a.m. to eat breakfast, then go back to bed and not wake up again until 2:30 p.m. That was me yesterday and I didn't like it one little bit. When the simplest activity leaves you exhausted, it's not good.
Could be the thyroid, could be the hormones, but whatever it is, all I want to do right now is go to sleep. The kitties have been good company, curling beside me on the bed. Nice to have them around.
Catch ya all soon...

Fingers crossed that it's something simple and simply fixed.

    Feel better soon.

  3. I've gotten into that mode too. Any chance it's seasonal? Lack of sunlight can wreak havoc on me. I hope that it's temporary and nothing serious. Sometimes your body is just sleep deprived to the point that you need to pay it back and a couple of days with lots of sleep may be just the ticket.

  5. Thanks everyone!

Lisa, I think I have the very opposite of seasonable affective disorder. I LOVE cloudy, dreary days. Winter and fall are my most productive seasons. When summer hits, I get depressed. I know - crazy!
