Two rejections waited for me in my inbox this morning. One was a rejection on a query letter - not too stinging. The other was a rejection on a partial. That one smarted.
It's part of the game. Some days it's easier to deal with than others. Today, well, today wasn't an easy day. But I refuse to give up.
Onward and upward!

All right. Enough with the down-in-the dumps posts. I realized that I had way too many of them in the past few weeks and I am bumming myself...

1) Writing a novel is hard. If anyone says, "Oh, I think I'll write a novel someday" and they have never written anything bef...

ReplyDeleteHA HA!!! We laugh in the face of rejection! We might be crying inside, but that will pass. I know it's hard. I went through a bad rejection myself last month, but, as you say, "Onward and upward!" It's all just part of the game.
