Laughing in the Face of Rejection

Two rejections waited for me in my inbox this morning. One was a rejection on a query letter - not too stinging. The other was a rejection on a partial. That one smarted.

It's part of the game. Some days it's easier to deal with than others. Today, well, today wasn't an easy day. But I refuse to give up.

Onward and upward!

  2. HA HA!!! We laugh in the face of rejection! We might be crying inside, but that will pass. I know it's hard. I went through a bad rejection myself last month, but, as you say, "Onward and upward!" It's all just part of the game.

    *Hugs*

  3. But you're submitting and getting requests for partials. That's so great!!!

  4. Sorry to hear about the rejections, but you have the right perspective on it. And at least you're submitting! That puts you in the game. Now it's just a matter of time...

It just shows they lack taste, and the right match is still out there, waiting!

  6. I agree with Devon, they totally lack taste. Your time will come my girl and when it does it will be magnificent
