Anticipation

Oh boy.

Quantum of Solace, the latest James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig, comes out tomorrow on DVD.

I'm just a little bit excited.
And, of course, the Disney movie, Bolt, also comes out on DVD tomorrow. My daughter has had the date circled on her calendar for months now. Yes, months. She loves Bolt. Loves him so much that she has transformed her room into a Bolt Utopia with pictures that she's drawn of Bolt hanging up everywhere. I only have a Daniel Craig calendar. ;-) But you can guess where we'll be tomorrow after work - the store!

Weekend was good. The weather was glorious. I got in a work-out on Saturday, did some shopping and now have two chairs and a table sitting on my deck. On Sunday, I took a morning walk by the duck pond, got some editing done, and finished reading the new James Bond novel, Devil May Care. Excellent read. Guess I'm in a bit of a Bond mood. Heh.

Anything you're looking forward to this week or this month?

  2. I'm looking forward to getting through this month. Anything beyond that would be gravy. And maybe no more snow would be nice but I won't hold my breath since we have a snowfall warning hitting us starting this afternoon. Love the pix of the flowers below though - reminds me spring IS on the way...

I was disappointed with Quantum of Solace which we saw in the theater. It wasn't half as good as Casino Royale, but hey! Daniel Craig as James Bond! WooHoo!

Enjoy your new deck furniture. You're all set for spring.

  5. I haven't seen that one yet, but I'll add it to my ever-expanding movie list. Can't go wrong with Daniel Craig, right?

We're going to FL in April, so I'm really looking forward to that!

  6. Oh enjoy that deck furniture! Nice to relax outside. I'm looking forward to a trip to Burlington, VT. We're actually going to tour the Ben & Jerry Ice cream factory :) A nice way to welcome Spring, with an ice cream cone.

Then spending a few hours exploring Burlington!

  7. Stina - Thanks so much! Very much appreciated.

Kelly - It's snowing in the western part of Nebraska right now - I just hope it doesn't come this way. :-)

Betty - Yeah, Quantum fo Solace wasn't nearly as good as Casino, but I still enjoyed it. It's Daniel Craig, after all, and not only do I think he's handsome, but a very talented actor.

Rebecca - Ooh, D.C.! I've always wanted to go there, see the WW2 memorial and Holocaust museum, not to mention all those other great monuments to our Founding Fathers. Have fun!

Janna - Oh, Florida! Are you going to Walt Disney World, perchance?

Joanne - Vermont...it just has such a cozy sound to it. Have fun at the Ben & Jerry factory. Maybe come up with a new flavor!

  8. In the same vein, I just started watching Heros and had no idea how many cuties there were on that show. Between Milo Ventimiglia, Greg Grunberg and whoever plays Mohinder, I'm in love. ;)

Also, I'm buying Chris Isaak's new release very soon. So happy I'll probably hug it!

  9. Hope you don't get snowed on.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the gym. I think I almost really mean it this time. :)

  11. Robin - Enjoy your Chris Isaak CD!

Christine - The snow is actually about 350 miles to the west of us. My family is getting a bunch of it. But we had tornados here in the eastern part of the state!

Angie - Oh, I hope you get what you want, dear Angie!

Dinah Washington sings a wonderful tune called "What a Difference a Day Made." While the lyrics are romantic in nature, it perfect...
