Spring, Is That You?

This morning, I walked outside and couldn't believe it. I really didn't even need a coat. It was absolutely gorgeous. My daughter was ecstatic.

"It's spring!" she said.

And even though it may not officially be spring, it sure does look and feel like it. With the time change coming up on Sunday, the days will get longer and that means more walks around the duck pond and more time spent outside on the deck. I'm looking forward to it.

I also noticed a nice change in my mood this morning. Upbeat. I'll take it. :-)

  3. Our time change comes at the end of the month, but it does make a change seeing sunlight and more daylight. That, and the energy bracelet, seems to be doing the trick. :o)

  4. I just love the smell of spring in the air. And we change the time forward this weekend so we'll be getting more daylight at the end of the day now. I can't wait!

  6. It's beautiful today, for sure! I love spring...it's my hands-down favorite season, and today is a perfect example of why.

I saw that the high today is supposed to be 74 degrees! Of course, that's a bit unseasonable, but I'll take it. And it's supposed to be fairly nice all the rest of this week, too.

    *does happy dance*

  7. It rained all day yesterday and it was so cold. It never got over 54 here yesterday. However, next week should be nice. I'm looking forward to spring as well.

  8. If it improves the mood, send some Spring this way. I could use a little upbeat!

  9. It snowed here in South Carolina last weekend, but by tomorrow it's supposed to be 70. *Amy does her happy, happy springtime dance, piroutettes, trips over the dog, snaps the elastic in her stretchy pants and pops the underwire in her bra.* But it's warm and sunny and no wardrobe malfunction can bring her down.

  12. Glad to hear about your spring like weather :) We're getting it too - my daffodils are now poking up through the soil! Though it is supposed to snow this weekend, I remain convinced spring is not far off.

Dinah Washington sings a wonderful tune called "What a Difference a Day Made." While the lyrics are romantic in nature, it perfect...
