Well, I didn't finish the novel edits yet. But this weekend should allow me more than enough time to get them done. So I guess I'll miss my deadline by a few days, but hey, that's not too bad, is it?
Besides, it's Friday. And you cannot be hard on yourself on Friday.
What are your weekend plans?

Hey Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that your husband is better. What a relief for you!
This weekend, my writer's group has planned a writer's weekend. Away from the family, just us writing buddies. We go to a nearby hotel and stay in a suite and write and critique all weekend long. We did it once before and it was great so we are looking forward to another productive weekend together. And the whole time I will be editing, editing and more editing!
Have a nice weekend!

I only ever give myself a Friday deadline if I'm definitely unavailable over the weekend. Those extra couple of days are a life saver. Saying that, my Open University always deadlines on a Friday. So far I've got 2 extensions out of her ... the last one to the following Monday.
ReplyDeleteNo, missing by a couple of days isn't bad.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend? Boring. Work and maybe a movie with the SIL.
I cleaned my house...maybe seeing Arctic Tale. How you managed a deadline with everything else going on is amazing. Yes, give yourself a break!
ReplyDeleteYou be good to yourself! Congratulations on hubby being able to work. I bet he's fed up!
