Back in the Saddle

Well. Here I am. A cube dweller once more.

Am I happy about that?

Well, let's see. On the one hand, me being at work means I'm actually feeling halfway decent. On the other hand, I work in a cube.

Enough said.

I'm still congested, have a wicked cough upon occasion, but I actually managed to drag myself out of bed this morning.

Thanks so much for all your great get well wishes. I read and appreciated each and every one.

  1. Love your cube picture, Melissa! It made me smile, although (said in a somber voice) yes, it's STILL a cube. Enough said. Work hard, get better, and write brilliantly!

    All the best...

  4. Oh I feel your pain! Glad to hear you're feeling better! One minute I feel fine, the next I feel terrible. This cold has really kicked me down.

The Cube Farm. I left my cube for a window office. Of course, that window is actually a metal roll-up service window...not a great view. Glad you're feeling better!

  6. There, you've nailed it: the theory of relativity!

I've done the cube thing. I kinda liked it; it was cozy. What I hate are the flourescent overhead lights. Even when you're well they make you look sick.

    Glad you're feeling better!

  8. We call our cubicles at work - pods. We're the pod people.

I love to hear from you!

What a Difference a Day (or Two) Made...

Dinah Washington sings a wonderful tune called "What a Difference a Day Made." While the lyrics are romantic in nature, it perfect...
