As ideas began to pour into my brain for the next novel, sometimes, a certain giddiness will just sneak into my soul and make me the happiest human being on the planet.

  5. Travis, it is a combination of both, isn't it? But the giddiness makes the suffering and angst worth it.

  12. It is a rush, isn't it? I get that feeling by eating the whole box of Thin Mints on the sly without having to share. I write to keep my kids from getting any computer time.:) Hope you have a fabulous birthday!
