I was out of town for Mother's Day, but thankfully got to spend it with my daughter. That was the best gift of all! I was also fortunate enough to receive a few goodies, too. I got a very cool denim jacket and this:
But of course, the best Mother's Day presents to me are the homemade kind. My daughter wrote me a letter detailing the perfect day that we could spend together. For our perfect day, we went to England, stayed at a hotel, and visited the Queen's castle! And this time, of course, she didn't want me to get
food poisoning like I did the last time I went to England. :-)
My daughter and I had lunch, then went to an art museum. Perfection!
How was your Mother's Day?
What a lovely idea-writing your perfect day to spend with your mom. I spent time with daughter's family, my granddaughter, and my other daughter. They even drove in from the city to go to church with me.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, thank you. No cooking or cleaning and lots of flowers for my gardens as presents. : )
ReplyDeleteI love that idea of your daughters.
ReplyDeleteIt was our Mother's Day in March, but my favourite Mother's Day is to spend it at home relaxing with the family.
Your daughter is one smart cookie! Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMine was great, too, filled with some good food and down time. :)
