My little girl turns 10 years old today.
We've traded pigtails and velcro shoes for long, straight hair and colorful Converse sneakers. But we've still got the stuffed dog.
And really, that's ok. When I see girls just a year older than her wearing make-up and short-shorts and too-tight tops, I thank God that my little girl is still a little girl. I'm not in any hurry for her to grow up.

Happy birthday to your daughter! And kudos to you as her mom ... it's so refreshing to see a young girl just immersed in and loving childhood, the innocence of play and imagination, the fun of easy times. Enjoy her day :)

I remember turning 10 and thinking how old I had gotten! She is adorable and is blessed to have a mommy who loves her so much! Happy Birthday!!!!
