Last night I was determined to thwart the Insomnia Beast, and even though it was nearing 11 p.m., I started writing.
And I kept writing until 1:30 a.m.
Result? I slept like a baby.
Except I had to wake up early to take my daughter to school. And then I had to come home and take a nap.
Slick is a master napper. |
So not only does it work for sleep but its quite productive too! :)
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteSlick looks so cute! He's a lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteI hope your insomnia sorts itself out soon. At least you can get more writing time at the moment!
I was able to get a decent night's sleep last night, thank goodness! :)
DeleteI write best late at night too, and make up for it with naps. I usually deal with insomnia with reading though. I need to try writing instead.
ReplyDeleteI think I write best late at night, too, which doesn't make for a very nice day at work the next morning!
DeleteInsomnia is so frustrating! The worst part is just knowing how tired you are going to be in the morning-but I'm glad you got some writing done.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for restful nights in the future:)
Last night was ROUGH. Up until 5 a.m.! I was soooo frustrated.
DeleteInsomnia sucks rocks. And so does a bed that feels like it's full of rocks. (That's my bed.) But hooray for the writing and well sleeping. And the napping. Especially the napping.
ReplyDeleteThank the Lord for naps. I don't know what I'd do without them in the last few weeks!
