Autumn, How I Adore Thee

What is your favorite part about autumn?

  1. Well, I'm in Texas so it doesn't feel too much like fall here---our temps are still in the mid to upper 90s!

I guess I love fall most because I'm a fall baby (October), and I have a lot of fond back-to-school memories from when I was a kid. I was one of those nerds who LOVED buying brand spanking new school supplies :-P

  2. Everything! Seriously, there's not one part of autumn that I don't like. Bring it on :)

Crisp air, pumpkins, and cuddling with my hubby. =]

  4. I love every part of autumn. However since I moved to the high desert from Oregon, I don't see fall much anymore. We go straight from summer to winter and right back to summer again. Depressing.

  5. When I lived back in Ontario, I found it hard to accept summer was over and fall had arrived...but once I did, I always loved the changing of the leaves and the brisk beautiful mornings....Out here in BC I love EVERYTHING about fall :) The mist in the morning, the rain, the cooler air, the fires both inside and out...yep, I love fall!

  6. I'm in Texas, too. Temps still in the 90's. Where I grew up in the North, I loved fall clothes. The crisper days. Halloween. Football games. The color.

  7. I love the changing of the colours in the garden and being able to light a fire again in the sitting room.

  8. It's a tight race between the amazing colours and the smells. I love that crisp, fresh air smell that is a great mix of firewood burning and hot cider brewing. And fresh apples. You know, the only thing I don't like about autumn is that winter follows.

  9. Cozy inside writing and sipping hot chocolate while outside, it rains...definitely my favorite.

  10. Watching "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" over and over again in October!
