Fall Is in the Air!

Can you feel it? The breeze is slightly cooler. The leaves are just starting to change. Football games bring excitement to Friday night and Saturdays - and don't forget Sunday NFL football!

There's a longing for a blanket, for candles lit on the fireplace mantle, for the sound of leaves
rustling against the house, for the smell of pumpkin and cinnamon and spices.

I love this time of year. The summer months bring about depression for me (I think I have the opposite of Seasonal Affective Disorder), but with the coming of cooler breezes and the change in the landscape, I feel positively alive.

Are you ready for fall?

  1. I'm ready! For warm drinks, jeans, sweatshirts, wood-burning fires, walks in the crisp air. You name it.

  3. I love the change in the seasons and for the past two days it's been far darker in the mornings when we've had to get up.

The novelty will soon wear off no doubt.

Fall is my husband's favorite time of year. It is a hard time for me because of the season depression issues but I cannot deny that it is crisp, beautiful, and enchanting.

  5. Over the weekend, I bought fifteen tarts for my candle burner. Fifteen! I love apples, cinnamon, pumpkin, spices, and coffee. I can't wait to burn them all!
