Does This Happen To You?

This, my friends, is why there is always a pen and paper on my nightstand. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've tried to go to sleep and an idea for my work-in-progress hits me. There were times I didn't write them down only to completely forget them in the morning. Lesson learned.

Always keep a pen and paper on the nightstand!

    Ha! I have paper and pen on my nightstand, too, and in every room of my house--including the bathrooms. You never know when an idea will strike!

    Same here! And it's doubly nice if I can read my midnight scrawl in the morning without needing coffee to decipher it. ;)
