I tried to do a whole lot of nothing this weekend. I think I accomplished that. :-)
Watched some WWII movies, including The Guns of Navarrone with Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, and David Niven. Great movie. Also started watching Band of Brothers - I borrowed it from my brother with the promise that I would take very good care of it.
Tonight we have our chapter meeting. And I'm going on very little sleep. My dog's fight with the thunderstorm last night kept me awake. He was running through the house, back and forth, back and forth, barking at the thunder and lightning. Needless to say, I wasn't sleeping very well.

All right. Enough with the down-in-the dumps posts. I realized that I had way too many of them in the past few weeks and I am bumming myself...
Watched The Great Raid, great movie. Otherwise, didn't do anything special.

ReplyDeleteTess - I've only watched the first hour of Band of Brothers, but it has immediately captured my attention. I just have to pick times to watch it when my daughter can't see it since I know it has a lot of disturbing images.
I took the kids to the zoo, played cards with Mom, and relaxed. It was nice. :)

We tried to watch Band of Brothers but we were watching right before bed and it was too disturbing for me...couldn't sleep after it. I need to try it during daylight.

I spent the ENTIRE weekend getting my requested submission for Kensington Brava ready. My bo-hiney hurts from sitting so long. hehe
