    1. (Random aside, I just discovered your pinterest link, and as I was just wondering what the heck pinterest was, I followed... and ohhhhhhh, I'm afraid I went straight for the men, and all I can say is it's a good thing I'm on lunch break right now! Lovely pics, and of so many men I love. Delighted to see Jeremy Renner (sigh) among Dana Andrews, etc. I'm loving browsing through all the various pictures. So, I'm still not sure what pinterest is, but I'm enjoying all the pictures! Thank you!)

  3. So very, very true! And the notebook beside the bed is quite redundant if you fall asleep before you get to it!

    1. Oh gosh. If there were, I would NEVER have to look for story ideas again. My dreams are crazy.

  5. So frustratingly true!!! Also often happens to me when I'm on my long walk, furthest spot from home, nothing to write on. I've take to repeating the good idea over and over again so as to remember it when I get back home; but then a second one will hit, and a third, and I never manage to remember all three!!!

    1. I'll do that, too, come up with ideas during my walks. And I have to repeat it to myself, as well, all the way home! LOL

  8. Melissa, I need to keep paper next to the bed too. Just the other night, in that state between falling asleep and true sleep, I had a story idea pop into my head, but by the next morning just a few tantalizing-yet insufficient traces of it remained:(

    1. Oh no! Yes, get you a pad of paper and a pen (and a flashlight!) so it won't happen again. :-)

  9. Teddy Roosevelt tried to use txt writing in the white house. there are many languages that don't have vowels.. writing in cursive deplays many personal character traits. Arnold Palmer was emphatic about his autograph, and still corresponds to all letters.

it is about the lowering of all standards in America. So when the Chinese invade to collect on our debt, we can learn symbol language.

or if the Ancient Aliens return to rule, our kids may speak to them in binary code!!
