Odds and Ends
I definitely didn't do much this weekend and that was my plan. In fact, most of my time was spent on the couch reading a good book. I also watched a few movies and got about a page written, but other than that, nada. I even took a nap yesterday. Boy, did I ever need a weekend like that.
Today was the first day of school - my daughter was a trooper! No tears or anything. She was a big girl. Of course, it probably helped that her daddy was there, too.
Other than that, not much to report. Did you have a more exciting weekend than I did? ;-)

All right. Enough with the down-in-the dumps posts. I realized that I had way too many of them in the past few weeks and I am bumming myself...
Well, you saw my Sat post. Yesterday I did make it to the gym, played on the computer a bit, then helped my m-i-l with some family stuff. Nothing too exciting :-) Glad you had a nice relaxing weekend. And that your daughter was ok with going to school.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your daughter did well at school. Such a relief, I'm sure! Mine is holding up too. In fact she wants to get rid of me the minute she gets there.
ReplyDeleteI didn't do anything exciting this weekend but I did write a lot and I cleaned house. So at least I got something done, which is unusual. Ha ha ha ha!
Hard to believe school is starting up again. Already the nip of fall is in the air. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHooray for a successful first day of school! Glad you enjoyed a relaxing weekend. :)
