A Thunderstorm in November?

This is weird. We're having a thunder and lightning storm. In Nebraska. At the end of November.

Now if it was a blizzard, I wouldn't be surprised.

But a thunderstorm?

It brings to mind too many "end of the world" movies...

Speaking of, I just watched War of the Worlds yesterday. Hmmm....

  1. How weird, we watched War of the Worlds yesterday too!

Being that we are neighbors in a way, we had peculiar weather today too. I heard it was heavy thunderstorms in Kansas too. In Oklahoma we had an orangish/brown sky with 70mph winds. I drove behind an RV and it was actually leaning!!!

When I saw the orangish/brown sky today I had to think War of the Worlds too. Now if I can just somehow get my tin roof fixed without having to call the insurance company. I hate it when part of your roof goes flying!

Okay, weird is going around! We rented War of the Worlds this weekend, too. Spooky.

And, on the weather front, we currently have about four to six inches of snow on the ground, heavy fog, rain, lightning and thunder. Gotta love Michigan. NOT

  4. That is DEFINITELY weird that we all watched WOTW this weekend!

The rain is gone here - we're supposed to get snow this afternoon. Not that I'm complaining...

What a Difference a Day (or Two) Made...

Dinah Washington sings a wonderful tune called "What a Difference a Day Made." While the lyrics are romantic in nature, it perfect...
