I get more breakthroughs during my workouts or when I'm doing something like chopping vegetables than at any other time.

Hmm, how writing supports exercise and exercise supports writing. Great interdependence, isn't it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12150605.post-46752560680333031962008-01-02T17:43:00.000-07:002008-01-02T17:43:00.000-07:00The only way I can make myself exercise if I am st...The only way I can make myself exercise if I am staring at the tv watching something more interesting than me exercising. It's my dead time. The best place for thinking for me has always been while driving or sleeping. Exercise, laundry and long showers seem to help me -- oh, and painting (not canvas, walls) or gardening. It has to be something that involves enough physical activity that the brain is getting extra oxygen, but the physical activity has to not require much help from the brain. Glad the workout kicked the cobwebs loose!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00665632105920753931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12150605.post-6992684248958477722008-01-02T07:07:00.000-07:002008-01-02T07:07:00.000-07:00Hmm - I'll have to try that. The dog is currently c...Hmm - I'll have to try that.

The dog is currently curled up round my trainers and we have a bitter wind here (nothing between Norfolk and Siberia) so I think mine will have to be mental exercise today.
