I long for a simpler life too pre-internet and I'm an old soul, I long for days gone by and sometimes I feel gypped that I can't experience other time periods!! :) So right about how the internet results in thoughtlessness because of anonymity and other reasons. And what a time devourer! I refuse to get a smart phone, but I also need to literally unplug my home wireless for all but an hour a day.
